Sometimes I see an image in the news, and I feel like I’ve seen that exact same image before in comics, film or animation. I don’t think it’s so much a prophetic thing, as much as the fact that the human condition has been what it is for a long time, and clichés are clichés for a reason.
THE PARADEMONS ARE READY, MY LORD
This first one will be hard to beat because it is so uncanny. The moment is exactly the same, and so are the characters. All I did was flop the Kirby panel.

This is Mike Pence from the first 2020 VP debate versus Kamala Harris, and Heichhorst from The Strain. The hatred and disdain are almost palpable in the head pose and expression, and the rot inside is beginning to manifest. The fact that a large fly sat on his odd-looking white hair for almost 2 minutes without him noticing didn’t help the undead vibe.
